(Special thanks to Northern Lights Over Arkham for the original preview of this card!)

Historically, Amina Zidane is an investigator notable for her incredible synergy with the Resign action, as this action causes herself and all her assets to be removed from play, providing great value to her team. The Drowned City Investigator Expansion offers a new tool for Amina to use in Blood of Thoth and thankfully, the Amina Zidane at your table is maybe two or three rounds from being able to generate one action, or you know what, perhaps not!

For those who don’t know about this card yet, Blood of Thoth is certainly one of the new player cards that will come in the next expansion! With this card, a doom-centric investigator like Amina Zidane is able to generate one extra action for her team in about 4 rounds of exhausting this over and over, which is enough actions to make up for the one you spent playing Blood of Thoth. Incredible! Can you imagine if you exhausted this 8 times in one game? You could get a second extra action which could go towards playing an Emergency Cache to more than make up the resources spent playing this sensational Relic card. Wow! I’m sure Amina players will be keeping the Taboo list on speed dial once they get their hands on this upcoming box with how exciting and thrilling Blood of Thoth promises to be.

“When I learned that Mystics were getting a new player card which allows them to give extra actions to other investigators, I said, okay, sure,” said Timmy James, a local Carson player who has already generated 12 actions for the table by simply existing. “And then I said, is Melissa going to take that in her Amina deck? Because I would rather she didn’t.”

“What happened to just playing Holy Rosary, Melissa? We talked about this.”

At press time, Melissa was discarding her Blood of Thoth after drawing a 0 on a Crypt Chill, followed by immediately resigning.
